Arrival & Dismissal Plan

Guidelines

AM: Students may enter the gym 10 MINUTES before school starts at 8:30 AM (9:30 am on Wednesday) Please do not bring students to school earlier. There is no supervision for students beforehand. Late students enter at the front doors.

PM: Students exit the building in different locations based on grade. Students will wait in line with their teacher; they will make contact with their teacher before departing to you.

TK/Kinder: All students will be waiting within their fenced patio off their classroom. TK/Kinder students must be picked up/walked with their adult.

Many families walk & roll to school. Please drive 20 mph or less in the school zone and on all neighborhood streets. Drivers must stop for people trying to cross the street at an intersection, with or without marked crosswalks. It’s the law and for everyone’s safety. (RCW.46.61.235).

If driving your students to/from school, student drop off will be along S 72nd St. If driving on the other side of S 72nd , families must get out of car and escort student across the street.
